Fruiting body, not mycelium

Many mushroom products are made from mycelium grown on rice, which gives a high starch content. We use only the fruiting body of the wild form – the mushroom you actually see in the forest.

Double extraction

First a hot water extraction, then an alcohol extraction. The two fractions are combined, which is the standard method for mushroom extracts.

Beta-glucans as the measure

We measure beta-glucans, not polysaccharides. Polysaccharides can include starch from the growing substrate and therefore say less about quality.
