How we think
A supplement brand's largest footprint sits in raw materials, packaging and transport. We work on those three, in that order, and we would rather report honestly on where we are than make claims we cannot document.
Packaging
- Shipping boxes and filling material are made from recycled paper and are recyclable as paper.
- Jars are recyclable and we are gradually moving formats to refill pouches, which use less material per serving.
- No plastic film around the outer packaging, and no printed paper inserts you did not ask for.
Shipping
We ship from a single warehouse in Sweden with PostNord and DHL, primarily to pick-up points because consolidated routes mean fewer kilometres per parcel. Subscriptions can be combined into one shipment so that several products travel together.
Sourcing and social responsibility
- Suppliers must document origin and comply with applicable labour and environmental legislation.
- We prefer manufacturing within the Nordics and the EU where the raw material allows it.
- Botanical raw materials are sourced from growers with documented harvesting practices.
What we have not solved yet
- We do not yet publish a full climate footprint calculation for each product.
- Some botanical raw materials can only be grown outside Europe, which means long transport.
- Our jar lids are not yet made from recycled plastic — this is on the roadmap.
